A large, underutilized state park. I've heard there's good mountain biking areas but haven't found them yet. Great hiking and walking trails with varied difficulties. Great waterfalls for photography or even Forest bathing. Trails are also clean, people pickup after themselves really well.
One of my favorites in Western Massachusetts. The hills are challenging but the waterfalls and scenic views are worth the effort.
Great place to hike. The waterfall was a little underwhelming, probably due to the drought, but the trails were well maintained and marked.
The outdoors are always beautiful and this state forest does not disappoint.
